How do you know what I'm pledging for?

Good question! If you’ve backed a Wyrmwood Kickstarter campaign before, this will all be familiar. If not, don’t worry - it’s very easy!

After the campaign wraps up, you’ll be emailed a link to complete a survey. This will ask some questions about your pledge, and then proceed to a section where you can select all the items you pledged for. You’ll even be able to add items to your pledge if you decide to get just one more set, or an extra d20 or two. So no pressure trying to totally figure things out right now!

We’ll include complete instructions on all that later on, but for now, the key takeaway is that you’ll lock in all your decisions AFTER the campaign wraps up.

Can I get a set of 10d10? You know, because some games aren't based on d20 systems. *coffin door slams angrily*

Sorry! We’re working on it! Stay tuned.

Are Wave 1 and Wave 2 both shipping in November? Wave 2 says December in the description.

Yeah, we screwed up, sorry. Unfortunately, Kickstarter does not allow edits to a reward description once people have selected it, but it SHOULD read December, and that’s when Wave 2 will ship. Sorry about that!

Are the Collaborator Dice Vaults and Tabletop Vaults available separately from the sets of dice?

Yes, you can pledge for just the Vault, just the dice, or both. You could even mix one set of collaborator dice with a DIFFERENT collaborator’s Dice Vault or Tabletop Vault. Of course, if you did that then you would be a monster, but we’re here to make awesome dice, not life judgments.

Do High Variance d6 dice have the Wyrmwood shield on every 6?

No - in fact, NO high variance die will feature logos. We felt placing multiple images on a single die would possibly create confusion, and would definitely be a bit much aesthetically. As a result, all high variance dice will feature numbers on all faces.

How do I pledge for Wood Dice?

Important: production capacity on wooden dice is highly limited, so we need to limit the amount of pledges for them that we fulfill each month. If your order contains ANY wood dice, pledge to one of the tiers specifically marked for it. You can add any number of resin, gemstone or glass dice to your pledge, as well, but you CANNOT add wood dice to your pledge in one of the standard tiers.

Will Master Vaults be available in this campaign?

No, Master Vaults will not be a part of this Kickstarter. But you have some options! There are a limited supply of Master Vaults available for order on our website as part of our Homebrew Collection, which you can find more information on at https://wyrmwoodgaming.com. Pre-orders are also still open for our Corrupted Collection, which includes a series of Halloween-themed Master Vaults. You can find that here: https://the-corrupted-collection.backerkit.com/hosted_preorders

Why are the stretch goal bonus dice high variance?

The free dice unlocked via stretch goals (resin for those pledging for items totaling $10 or more, with bonus metal dice for those pledging for items totaling $100 or more) are a set of commemorative, high variance d20s in metallic colors (bronze, silver and gold).

The concept of high variance dice is a big part of this campaign, and we feel it only makes sense that the commemorative dice for the campaign feature this unique numbering system - since this very project is how the system became a reality!

Employing the same numbering system across all of them helps keep production and fulfillment simpler, which matters a lot when you’re dealing with free items in a project of this scale.

Finally, we think the high variance concept has a lot to offer, though we know it isn’t for everyone. But the commemorative set is the perfect way to give it a try, if you’re skeptical or merely curious. Who knows? Just like a 20 or a 1, these dice could change the game forever!

Can I pledge for a single d20 or just a set of 3d6?

Yes! The rule of thumb here is “if an item has a price listed on the page, you can pledge for it by itself.” So you can absolutely back for a single gemstone d20, or a set of 3d6 resin dice in High Variance numbering. As much or as little as you like!

Can I get a custom text engraving on my Dice Vault or Tabletop Vault add-on?

No, text engravings are not a part of this campaign, for a variety of reasons. First, the focus of the campaign is the dice. More importantly, though, this is a complex campaign with a lot of options, and our fulfillment waves are quite large. It’s important that fulfillment be as streamlined as possible, and custom text engravings are in direct opposition to that.

However, if you want to get a Tabletop Vault or Dice Vault engraved, you can certainly do so! Dice Vaults can be personalized on WyrmwoodGaming.com, and you can pre-order a custom engraved Tabletop Vault through our Hero Vault 2.0 Kickstarter pre-order store: https://the-wyrmwood-hero-vault-20.backerkit.com/hosted_preorders

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
