Hello, backers!
As you are all no doubt VERY aware, fulfillment is slated to begin next month. We hope you're as excited as we are! With Halloween and the holidays approaching, there's a lot to be excited about, even outside of the impending tidal wave of sweet dice coming your way. But more on that later. Let's talk fulfillment.
Fulfillment Status
At this point, we've been receiving dice from our partners for weeks, and are wrapping up our final audit to confirm we have all of the inventory we need for the first fulfillment wave (November). Anything missing or incorrect, our suppliers will get us in the coming weeks, along with the remainder of what is needed for the following waves.
We don't have an exact date for when shipping will begin, but it is likely to do so by the first week in November, if not earlier. Typically, we begin shipping towards the end of our target fulfillment month, so this means we're several weeks ahead of schedule. We are optimistic we can remain so for the entirety of fulfillment, since the biggest hurdles in the fulfillment process - planning, working out the details of processes, getting required supplies, and implementing infrastructure - are being dealt with right now, which frees us up to just pull, pack, and ship. And we've got a LOT of all three to do.
But things are looking good. We'll touch base on the 1st to let you know how it's looking as fulfillment officially begins!
This is a Thing
So, while things are going *pretty* well, production has not been without some hurdles and challenges. Among them, due to a miscommunication (our fault), we received our big batch of resin High Variance dice packaged incorrectly, with 3d6 and sets of 7 combined. In addition, due to an earlier, much discussedoversight, these resin sets arrived with a d100 that was incorrectly numbered (also our fault).
So we got a large batch of CORRECTED d100s. But those had to make it into the packs with the rest of the sets, AND the sets of 7 and 3d6 had to be split up. What does that look like? Something like this:
Note that this covers PART of the corrections on one color... of which there are seven. It's... gonna be a while.
Halloween
Well, we're halfway through October, and you know what that means... Halloween is right around the corner! We obviously feel pretty good about that... despite not knowing exactly what Halloween looks like here in 2020. But whatever form it takes, it's a time of shadows and darkness... and the things that lurk within them. The world has seen a good amount of darkness in 2020, it's true, but precious little fun and celebration. So we hope, in whatever way you can, you enjoy the holiday. And how are we celebrating?

Countdown to Fulfillment, November 2020: October Update

Hello, everyone!
We're entering October - November is just around the corner, and that means fulfillment is set to begin very soon. We hope you're as excited as we are!
Production/Fulfillment Status
At this point, we have the wood dice for November in and ready to go. We have the vast majority of gemstone dice for November in with the rest on the way, and the T20 run is also en route. Resin dice should be arriving in a matter of days, and the stretch goal metal dice are already here - all 23,000+ off them!
So we're in pretty good shape as we get closer to beginning fulfillment. Which brings us to our next topic...
Address Lockdown
Since shipping will start soon - possibly earlier than scheduled - we will be locking down addresses for the November waves. Monday, October 5th, November addresses will be locked in BackerKit!
Please verify your address is correct before Monday! We're sending out a message to everyone in these tiers at the same time as this update with further details, so be on the lookout for that if you backed at any of the following levels:

Hi, everyone!
Normally we wouldn't be due for an update until October 1st, but we wanted to check in early with this one, since there's actually a lot to share with you.
Fulfillment
The big question, of course, is are we on time for fulfillment? The answer is... no, we're not.
We're actually ahead.
So far, we've received almost all of the first month's build and sorted them into inventory. The final big shipment is due to arrive around the end of this month, and if everything checks out - and we have no reason to believe it won't - we're likely to begin fulfillment a little bit early. As a result, we are going to begin to lock addresses soon. If you'll be moving or need to update your address, please do so now. It's a great idea to verify your address is correct, even if you don't intend to change it. You'll get an email from BackerKit warning you of the impending lock, so be on the lookout for that.
Timeline
Our project timeline is going to be updated soon - once fulfillment begins, we'll cut out the earlier, completed phases and break the production section up by wave to give an idea of our progress on a more granular level. For now, it retains the familiar look.

We're checking in with another update, as we get closer and closer to the beginning of fulfillment. The first production orders are beginning to arrive, and we'll have some photos of the dice sets to show you once we sort them out. Hello everyone!
We wanted to check in with a brief, unscheduled update, and then let you know how things are progressing. In addition, we wanted to share with you our latest campaign, which we think you're going to love. Read on for more!
Production Update
We've been in touch with our suppliers, and things are progressing well! We're expecting the November shipments to begin arriving very soon. We'll be sure to post details and photos as they start to trickle in, and of course we'll be placing the December orders immediately afterwards and keeping the project moving forward. Thanks to all of you for your patience during this somewhat "quiet" period!
