Hello everyone!
We'll keep this brief; in our last update, we announced the upcoming Wyrmwood Modular Gaming Table Kickstarter campaign, which was scheduled to launch today.
However, in order to make the project the best it can be, we're delaying the launch date ONE WEEK, to next Tuesday, August 11th. The project will launch at 2pm Eastern. So, once again:

Countdown to Fulfillment, November 2020: August Update

Hello everyone!
We don't have a lot of news to share quite yet, but file this one under "no news is good news" - we've placed all of the initial orders, production has begun, and are waiting on the arrival of the November items. After that, we'll place our December orders and prepare to proceed to fulfillment.
As a refresher, here's our timeline, which is unchanged from last time. Once the November items have made it through production, we may update the timeline to detail where each wave is in the process, but for now, we'll keep it simple.

The Wyrmwood Modular Gaming Table
In just a few days, we'll be launching a brand-new campaign, and we think it's honestly our most exciting project to date. If you follow us, you already know this, but if you don't, we have a question for you:

Countdown to Fulfillment, November 2020: July Update

Hello everyone!
This update marks the beginning of our standard Kickstarter update schedule for this project. From here on out, you can expect an update on the 1st of each month. Other than that, we'll only issue updates on special occasions.
This will change once fulfillment begins in November. At that point, since we're actively fulfilling, we'll add a second update every month, on the 15th, to let you know how fulfillment is progressing.
Now that we've covered that, let's check in with where things stand.

As of this writing, we have submitted the initial orders to our manufacturing partners, who are preparing and, in some cases, have already begun production. In other words - it has begun! Are you excited? We're excited.
Late Surveys
As discussed in our last update, we'll be checking weekly for newly completed surveys/orders in BackerKit, and processing those orders then. This will happen towards the end of every week - generally on Fridays. New pre-orders will also be processed at that time. As we've submitted our initial orders, it's possible some late orders will be delayed to the next delivery wave as a result. If you still haven't finished your survey and selected your items, please do so immediately to avoid further delays!
Wyrm Lyfe
Our vlog series is back! Season five officially kicked off this past Friday, and we're back on our regular schedule of new episodes every Friday and Wednesday. This season promises to be quite eventful, with episodes coming from not one but TWO locations - here in Massachusetts at Wyrmwood HQ, and at our sister shop in Pennsylvania. The locations will alternate, with full episodes from each location. The season premiere features a discussion of the numbers from this Kickstarter... and also stops in with two of our own (spoiler, one of them is writing this) as we embark on a new chapter of life...

BackerKit Charges in Progress

Hello everyone!
This is just a brief update to let you all know that the BackerKit charges are in progress now, so those of you that added a card in BackerKit will see the charges start to come through. This also includes current pre-orders.
That effectively completes the funding phase of the project! Next comes ordering, sourcing and manufacturing, so it's up to us and our partners now!

BackerKit LOCKED. What's Next?

Hello everyone!
Thanks to all of you for filling out your surveys! We had a handful that didn't get filled out by the deadline yesterday; we'll be following up with those backers soon.
At this point, your orders are officially locked. Of course, you'll be able to change your address as needed, up until fulfillment. You can do so by simply returning to your survey, so keep those invitation emails handy if you're planning a move this year!
BackerKit Charges
We had initially planned to charge orders with outstanding balances today, but we're going to push that back slightly until Monday. So be aware you'll see that charge come through Monday or Tuesday of next week. This only applies to items you added in BackerKit beyond your initial pledge, of course.
Next Steps and Future Updates
We've already compiled the numbers and are getting the final orders placed with our suppliers for the early tiers as we speak.
We'll reach out with another brief update Monday, once the charges have gone out, but after that, we'll likely settle into our standard update schedule, which is pretty simple. All projects get an update on the 1st of each month, every month until fulfillment is complete. Once projects enter fulfillment, there will be an additional update on the 15th of each month, until the project is completed.
There may occasionally be updates outside of that schedule as needed.
