Welcome to the mid-August fulfillment update. Let's see how we're doing and jump right into the numbers.

Fulfillment by the Numbers

Total Kickstarter project fulfillment stands at 98.7%

10,747 orders fulfilled of 10,890 total, not including pre-orders

To dive deeper into the individual tiers:

November tier (2190 backers): 2190 fulfilled - 100%

December tier (3227 backers): 3227 fulfilled - 100%

January tier (3543 backers): 3543 fulfilled - 100%

February tier (483 backers): 483 fulfilled - 100%

March tier (529 backers): 526 fulfilled - 99.4%

April tier (486 backers): 479 fulfilled - 98.6%

May tier (375 backers): 254 fulfilled - 67.7%

Final tier (57 backers): 45 fulfilled - 78.9%

Pre-orders:

2,859 orders: 1,213 fulfilled - 42.4%

Important Note: Pre-orders are only shipped if ALL inventory needed to fulfill the order is not needed for any outstanding Kickstarter pledge - in other words, backers always get inventory first.

 Fulfillment News

Another update, another gemstone shipment! We've been able to make some solid progress the past few weeks, edging ever closer to fulfillment completion.

We expect our final Kickstarter wood dice to arrive before the month's end. That should allow us to close out the remaining Kickstarter pledges (143 as of this writing). We'll be taking a final inventory to confirm the pre-order numbers that are in progress are 100% correct, and getting in any remaining outstanding product. I'm hesitant to give a hard date, but I'm hopeful we can wrap things up altogether before too much longer.

I really appreciate you all bearing with us. This has been a very challenging fulfillment for a lot of reasons - global pandemic, working more closely than ever before with manufacturing partners, receiving and organizing inventory at a wholly new scale, and more. The fact that we expect to wrap up the campaign fulfillment in August or September, 3-4 months past our original target, is disappointing, but our team hasn't stopped working to get it done as quickly as we could. And we've learned a lot that we're continuing to apply as we move forward.

We are excited to announce the upcoming launch of the Wyrmwood Hexagonal Gaming System. Our latest project, which combines our hexagonal Tabletop Vault and Hero Vault with our Tabletop Tiles line of board game organization accessories has a lot going on, including many new designs, products and options, and to cover it all, Bobby's got a video for you. It also explains some basics about how the campaign works - which will be a bit different from all prior Wyrmwood Kickstarter projects. Take a look:

Fulfillment News

Okay! As you can see, some solid progress has been made over the past few weeks. As we mentioned last time, we did receive a gemstone shipment, allowing us to close out all remaining orders up through the February tier.

We are expecting a wood dice shipment soon, along with a bit more gemstone stock, and I'm hopeful we can ship most, if not all, of the remaining campaign pledges by the end of August. By the next update, I should be able to report on whether we're on track for that with much more confidence than I can right now.

In addition, we're working on setting aside all current inventory for all remaining project orders - about 200 orders - so that we can move on to begin shipping pre-orders from the remaining inventory we have that is not required to fulfill any backer orders. Up until this point, we've been focused on the campaign backers first, naturally, but with the end in sight for the campaign, we think it's fair to start shipping out the pre-orders we can. As before, we are only shipping pre-order customers items that are not reserved for campaign backers. Put another way - backers always get inventory first.

That's about all the news fit to print for now. I'll be back on the 15th to share the latest info on where fulfillment stands, and I expect to have a lot of good information then.

Fulfillment News

Astute observers may notice some numbers have changed in the above tiers, as well as the total number of pledges overall. What's going on? Well, campaigns can be messy, and some amount of bookkeeping is necessary to shepherd all of the backers through the process and keep things up-to-date.

I did some much needed cleanup over the past week or two. Many backers in the various tiers had never filled out their survey, had left it incomplete, had unresolved issues with credit card payments, etc. All of these backers have been pushed forward to a "final tier" where they have a last chance to resolve these issues, prior to being dropped from the project entirely (if that happens, they will be sent a WyrmwoodGaming.com Gyft Certificate in the amount of their collected funds, and marked "fulfilled" for this project). Many of these pledges will end up fulfilled this way, but we'll only do that when the last order has been placed, just in case they decide to respond and claim their rewards.

As a result, some of the tiers are more fulfilled than they seemed, and those numbers have increased, despite the shipped packages being the same as the last update. However, we do have actual shipping progress, as well - most of which was in the May tier, with nearly 200 orders shipped! 

After we shipped all of April that we could, we were able to move on to May and get nearly half of it out the door, which is a great start on the last Kickstarter tier. As of this writing, we are due for a large shipment of gemstone dice that should be arriving by the week's end. Once we receive and inventory it, we should be able to ship many of the remaining orders while we await the next wood shipment, which shouldn't be too far behind.

Summer in the City

Thank you all, and we hope you're enjoying the summer. Speaking of summer, historically "summer" means the start of convention season! It didn't last year, of course, but we're gearing up to start conventions again, with a couple taking place in September. We hope we'll see you out there soon - it's been too long!

First, let me apologize for the lateness of this update. It was drafted and set to go out on the 1st, but was erroneously not sent due to an internal miscommunication. Sorry about that. We'll resume with another regular update later this week, but for now, let's take a look at our numbers from the beginning of the month (I've made a couple small edits throughout, but the numbers are unchanged, so bear in mind they are a bit little out of date).

Fulfillment News

As we mentioned in our last update, we were due to receive a shipment of wood dice for the April orders. That has arrived, and we have shipped the majority of that out, as you can see from the numbers above. It isn't the entirety of the wood dice for the month, though - the balance is still in production, to be followed immediately by the May order. It looks like we'll also be receiving a larger shipment of gemstone dice soon, as well. We don't have a definite date on that, but we'll give you more info in the mid-month update later this week.

Other than that, we don't have a lot to report - we thank you again for your patience while we wrap up the remainder of the project and pre-orders.

Fulfillment News

Continued, incremental progress is the name of the game this time.

Wood dice for April are due in shortly, possibly late this week or early next. After that, it will be onto the final orders for the Kickstarter campaign, followed of course by pre-orders. We're expecting an order of gemstone dice imminently, as well, which should take care of some of the most delayed orders. Unfortunately, we've been waiting on a handful of SKUs for some time, and that's held up some of our orders much longer than we'd hoped.

Those SKUs consist of a variety of things, but some of the key materials we're waiting on are Ruby in Zoisite, Crown Crystal (Black), Hematite, Primrose Candy Glass, Opalite, Chaos Cubes, Picture Jasper, Bloodstone, Blue Sandstone, and Rose Quartz. Many of these SKUs are headed our way and due to arrive this Friday, with the remainder hopefully not far behind.

We continue to ship everything we can and will keep up our practice of getting orders out as soon as stock becomes available. Thank you for your patience while we work with our vendors to get the remaining items needed as quickly as possible.
